Not really fucked these days. Like quite a few I have got so cynical I don't believe anything until its been made official. A few years ago though I would randomly wake up at odd times at the night and check teletext

the 2nd one.  I come on here, and nowts happened, so I go and do summit, then I'm back frantically checking thinking "fuck!  what if something has happened?"  I should have got used to it now, but I haven't.

I used to check like every 5 seconds a few years ago. Now I can usually go like a day before even realising we've signed someone.

When I'm not a work it's easier for me to resist the temptation but I do have a problem. Although I can't help thinking, if we had signed some quality early on and we just had some crossing the i's and dotting the t's to do then I would be much more relaxed about it.

I like to keep my eye on all club transfers if I can. Also I like talking about football so the more stories in the news the better as rumor & potential players moves is always good crack.

Well as I'm getting made redundant from work in a few weeks, I'm not exactly at my most productive during the day. So I tend to refresh horribly frequently.

 

Once home though, perhaps just a couple of times on an evening to see if anything's happening.

I really feel like I've done it all before now. Trying to follow the daily grind of transfer rumours can be so tedious, been there and done that religiously when I was 12-16.

 

I check the forums daily anyway... out of not having anything else to do mainly, and as some have said already when something is real and true we know soon enough anyway.
