Aren't you all jumping the gun a little bit, seeing as we don't even know what's going on..?

 

Considering the club had supposedly told him he was surplus to requirements anyway, if he has been arrested then he'll be out.

And some people on here critisise me for saying that we should have got rid of him ages ago.

Aye, maybe. The vendetta has still been somewhat over the top at times.

 

If he's assaulted someone unprovoked, fair enough, or instigated it all himself. If it was a "fight" that he "won", then this can get to fuck.

City centre assault

 

Dated: 27 Aug 2011

 

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault outside Cosy Joes

Pub, in Groat Market in Newcastle city centre.

 

It happened at 1.30am on Saturday, August 27, when police were called after

a 33-year-old man was assaulted.  When police arrived the injured man was

unconscious and was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary suffering from a

suspected broken jaw.  The offender made off and police carried out a search

of the area.

 

A 20-year-old man was arrested a short time later, nearby, on suspicion of

assault and is currently helping police with their enquiries.

 

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time who may

have seen or heard anything suspicious to contact them.

 

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Northumbria Police on

 

03456 043 043 ext 69191 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
