Guest Gallowgate Mag
A day before a game and no sign of one of these....has it really come to this? Anyhoo, i'd go for: Given Edgar Coloccini Cacapa Bassong Duff Geremi Butt N'Zogbia Owen Xisco Newcastle 0-3 Blackburn Rovers
TRon
I'd rather play the youth team than some of that lot.
Dave
2-0 defeat, I expect. They won't have to get out of second gear to see us off if we play like we did against Spurs, and that's before even considering the mistakes.
Guest Gallowgate Mag
I'd rather play the youth team than some of that lot. A maximum of 5 players in that team would be in my first choice XI: Given, Coloccini, Owen, N'Zogbia (on a good day), Bassong (only due to the fact even other defender we have is turd). Steven Taylor would be nowhere near my team even with an injury crisis.
Guest Darth Toon
Reckon it'll be the same starting XI as against Spurs, but with Xisco in for Martins. 1-2 defeat - with Blackburn barely getting out of first gear, and another Owen consolation goal late on. ikri
A day before a game and no sign of one of these....has it really come to this? Anyhoo, i'd go for: Given Edgar Coloccini Cacapa Bassong Duff Geremi Butt N'Zogbia Owen Xisco Newcastle 0-3 Blackburn Rovers That'll probably be the team that starts and it'll produce nothing. Again. Geremi is great as an impact player coming on for 20 minutes to change a game, but he's incapable of playing 90 minutes without looking like an asthmatic pensioner. Duff offers so little to the team we'd be better off putting a shirt on a plank of wood. We're fucked anyway, may as well take a chance on some youngsters, give them some experience. Try the unexpected.
BONTEMPI
Fuck it we need 3-5-2 something like this Given Taylor Cacapa Bassong Colo Geremi Butt Duff Zoggy Owen Xisco Colo to mop up Butt's mistakes in midfield and Zoggy doing the link up play with the front two

ChrisMcQuillan
Team that will start: Given Geremi Coloccini Taylor Bassong Duff Cacapa Butt N'Zogbia Owen Xisco Team that I WANT to start: Given Coloccini Cacapa Bassong Enrique Duff Doninger N'Zogbia Owen Xisco Carroll

Guest MrSundlofer
------------------Given------------------- Edgar----Taylor-----Tozer---Bassong ----------------Coloccini------------------ Gonzalez-Danquah-Owen--N'Zogbia -----------------Ranger------------------- A shit side, yes. But it was a shame to see a team of Butt, Duff, Geremi vs Spurs. Rather lose with this team.

Mr. Snrub
They've beat us last 3 years in a row at SJP have they not? Can only think this will be yet another dismal Saturday.
jack j
Do people not learn, hoying tozer in at the deep end when the troups are down will kill his career before it's started, just look at Steven Taylor how many different defensive partnerships he has had it's fecked the lad up. Dunedin
Not looking forward to Saturday. First a 3 hour train journey from Edinburgh (track repairs) so via Carlisle. No midfield to put out and a dismal 3 hour journey home. Thank f**k for alcohol.

I don't want Duff starting personally, he makes my heart ache watching him.
