Hartlepool dismiss manager Wilson

Hartlepool have sacked manager Danny Wilson after two-and-a-half years in charge at the club.

Wilson, 48, won promotion to League One with the club in 2007 but saw them slide into the bottom-half this season.

"We would like to thank Danny for the hard work he put in during his time at Victoria Park," a club statement read.

Chris Turner has been placed in temporary charge of first-team affairs as well as carrying out his role as director of sport.

Pools are unbeaten in four games but failed to beat League One strugglers Hereford on Saturday, and had to come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw.

The result saw them slip down the table, where they now lie just seven points clear of the relegation zone.

Bit unfair like  :undecided:

Wilson has fucked around this year: Loaning Richie Barker out & brining Kyle in on loan on big £££'s has been poor deal. The Kevin Klye signing has also James Brown play more on the wing!!! Ritchie Jones x-Man Utd is meant to be on good money as well. The board have backed with good £££'s for contracts & they are not seeing the results.

Chris Turner has been fucking itching to be back in charge.

Danny Wilson is in Newcastle what looks like he is doing his crimbo shopping.

Please note there is no "and" to the above

I saw him in Newcastle today. He was window shopping obviously.
