Superior Acuña
We have to do this now. Sunderland will be crushed after that. Exactly what we wanted to happen at Hull. Can't blow it!
Lenny
Pretty much perfect set of results for us today. Win please for us on Monday and we'll have probably seen the most important weekend of football for us this season.
Guest Phil K
We had better get a good start. In a run-in of "must-win" games our lot have made an absolute MESS of, this is the ultimate must win
Karjala
Why do so many people seem happy chelsea won?
Guest eltsacwen
We need Man Utd not to win as well. They go to Hull for the last game of the season. If they're champions and in the Champions League final they'll play their reserves against Hull.
Karjala
Just looked at the bottom 6's remaining fixtures... 7 points may well be enough for us, 9 defo would IMO. Cant see us picking up 3 wins tho.
alexf
a win tho on monday could do wonders for confidence and with injurys clearing up 3 wins is very much possible so im positive. also i'd say we have to win all of them to have a chance of avoiding the drop as we have a better goal difference aswell so if we are on 39 and hull and sunderland are aswell then we may well still finish above them
Dr Venkman
epic set of results today for us. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA MACKEMS!!!!!

jimmymag
Our players have done nothing BUT f*** up every b*stard game so far in the run in What makes you think such a pack of self-pitying chokers will do anything else on Monday ? With support like that i doubt they will You get the support you deserve Fact is - they HAVEN'T. They've got great backing and given NOTHING back in return An example is some of the answers to me - people defending the indefensible But I respect such blind (and I DO mean blind) support We can do without "supporters" like you. I suggest you go to the theatre or ballet or opera instead!

Liam Liam Liam O
RTG Forum is hilarious atm. I think they've realised that taking the piss out of us so early might have been a bit premature.

Karjala
It would be the funniest fucking thing ever if them dirty twats went down and we stayed up.
Tsunami
Today's results will only mean something if we beat Pompey. If we do and there is another set of results that go our way next week then we can afford to have a nightmare at Lpool and still be in with a real shout. It isn't beyond possible that if we beat Pompey and 'boro that we'd be out of the bottom 3. It is on our hands.

TRon
It's always been a case of us making sure we do what we need to do and the other results will look after themselves. If we win three games we stay up, as simple as that.
Ronaldo
7 points will be enough now like. The question is, if Shearer doesn't drop either Nolan and Butt or Owen and we go down, can he really point the finger of blame elsewhere. We have a golden opportunity here
TooonDoom
Sunderland 34 35 -15 Blackburn 33 34 -20 Hull 34 34 -21 Middlesbro 33 31 -22 Newcastle 33 30 -16 West Brom 34 28 -30 Imagine how much better that would look with 3 points on Monday night Every time I see that table I think back to the hull game at home when it was 0-0. Out came the cockney mafia out sign and we were quickly down 0-1 and we got no point and they got three. What a difference three points there would have made.
