I'm dead against Keegan getting any more money out of the club but this latest spin is exactly that...spin; if Administration is something of reality from KK legal battle its the current regime being a bigger bunch of cunts trying to make it worse for KK.

As it is, i'm in disgust of KK suing the club in its current position, it doesn't take any more spin to make me think any worse of the bottling freeloading money grabbing prick.

If this was simply about the money why didn't he just see his contract out until it ended or he got sacked?

His natural proven reaction is to walk away...he walked and still wants paying for it.

The vitriol directed towards Keegan does baffle me. What exactly has he done wrong? If, as looks likely, the court are going to rule in his favour then he was entirely justified in his actions. SBR almost took the club to court when he left because he felt his severance package wasn't up to much and managed to squeeze a few million more out of us. Was he knob for doing it too?

EXACTLY MATE! Leave KK alone ffs man. We were really going places under him.

Perhaps it's from younger fans who don't remember his first two spells at the club (as a player and a manger) He's been accused by some of cowardice for walking out last year, but if he is proven right tomorrow (as many of us suspect), what will his detractors then say?

KK hasn't been without his faults in the past - getting rid of the reserve side was a massive mistake, but he took this club from near extinction to almost PL champions inside 3 years back in the 90's.

He wants his contract paid off, like SBR did when he was fired.

If he doesn't have a case, he wont get any money.  Not rocket science.

If your employer is a cunt and forces you out, you seek compensation.

SBR actually got sacked.

tribunals rulle consructive dismisal, equivalent to being sacked. worse in some cases for the damage done in the process.

No he didn't.

His contract was a rolling12 months, if he was SACKED he was owed 12 months worth of money, simple as.

Me or you know fuck all what happened behind the scenes.. if he has a case for 'constructive dismissal' he is entitled to it.  Just like SBR was entitled to having his contract paid off.. or do you still fail to see it?

No problem with that, but then will people stop moaning about lack of funds for players, because the club is clearly not flush with cash as we are currently operating on the goodwill of Barclays extending the overdraft?

Loads of people banding about the term 'constructive dismissal' without a fuking clue what it actually means.

Laughable.

Anything to protect their Messiah though.

What's the difference between that and Keegan being forced out of his job with three years still left on his contract and wanting that money? That's assuming that the tribunal rules in Keegan's favour.

Massive assumption, and you really have to go on track record, which doesn't favour KK.

He didn't get a world class player....Waaaaa

He got enforced financial restraints on him (like most jobs).....Waaaaaa

His budget changed (like what happens in business)....Waaaaa

It wasn't quite what was on the brochure....double fuking waaaaaaaa....Shit happens, people oversell the dream, KK just as guilty of that a few times himself...more waaaaa.

He should have told the fans WTF was going on and that he'd stick by us, as apparently he loves the club more than anyone and understands it even more...but instead through in the towel at the 1st sign of resistance.

Massive assumption? Possibly, but if someone gets accused of stealing and has been done 2-3 times already for that crime, what would you think?

I'm not the one who thinks they can say the words  'constructive dismissal' and use it as an argument.

If anything, those who in knowledge should share to us plebs what that would mean, what constitutes and how that could be perceived in court.

I'm listening/watching.

That goes for CP40 who's wipes his arse on used industrial law books.

I think very few of the factors you've listed came into his decision. His ability to talk to players and convince them to come was one of his main strengths and that rug was pulled from under him only a few weeks into the job when Wise came in - a decision i'm not entirely sure he knew about or was happy about. Add to the fact he wasn't even able to pick the players the club brought in or sold (something Mike Ashley lied about to us, the fans, in the club magazine a week before Keegan walked out) and the players that were bought were way below par and you've got a situation any manager would have real difficulty working in.

On a more personal level I get the feeling from the stories leaked from both sides that NUFC was a boys club for Ashley and his mates. Keegan wasn't one of his mates, he was marginalised and he felt they were making a fool of him. I've heard people who worked alongside Keegan at the club at the time say the same thing.

Like you say though, massive assumptions. I have faith the tribunal will find in favour of whoever was in the right. If that was Ashley i'll admit KK was being a petty cock, if that was Keegan I hope you'll stand up and admit he was justified. I doubt it though.

Ok, for one moment we focus on payout and nothing else:

Were talking £3m for a man who took us from relegation battles or at best bottom-mid table, to Champions league football - Deserved. To boot the money was given when we were at least the 5th best club in the country and in Europe regularly, we could afford it and he worked for it, for several years.

KK situation is he was there for a few month, won a couple of games, didn't move the club forward, and now wants £10m, over 3 times as much, for a fraction of the work while we are in the worst position the club has been in for 15 years (or pushing) and people want to tag him as a fan of the club.

You have faith in the legal system?

Even if its in Ashley's favour it means pretty much nothing to who was right, the only person(s) who loses out is the club and true associates ie the fans.

This whole thing reminds of an old tale i got told in school about two women arguing over a baby, both said it was their's, the judge (or elephant prince) said he couldn't decide so it was only fair to split the baby in half killing it but each woman had a share. The real mother stepped forward and said that she'd rather give up the baby so it kept on living, even though she lost out...

Yes i'm a tad tipsy but it seems to fit with KK's legal action against the club in its current state.

Like you say though, massive assumptions. I have faith the tribunal will find in favour of whoever was in the right. If that was Ashley i'll admit KK was being a petty cock, if that was Keegan I hope you'll stand up and admit he was justified. I doubt it though.

You have faith in the legal system?

Even if its in Ashley's favour it means pretty much nothing to who was right, the only person(s) who loses out is the club and true associates ie the fans.

They've got more chance of coming to a sensible decision than a bunch of fans on a messageboard.

How do the fans lose out, by the way? We're already buying nee cunt and selling anything that's not nailed down. Why is this shit being speiled over and over again by know nowts?

I've said it before on here but constructive dismissal is hard to prove because courts/tribunals don't like to pass judgement on how owners run their business. Commercial and financial decisions sometimes have to be made that cut across an employee's employment contract but it doesn't, by any means, mean the employee has a cast iron case for constructive dismissal. Lambias was running the show for Ashley and if the club lose this then its about as damning a proof as you could get of his sheer f*cking incompetence - not that any further proof is required tbh.
