Superior Acuña
If Sunderland nick something off Man U (I hope to god they don't slip up again) and we lose this, I'll finally start worrying about our safety. I'm worried about Boro vs Hull too. A result either way is a disaster. we need a boro win. And move to second bottom, basically creating another relegation spot? I don't think so. Draw's obviously best, but i think after that, a boro win. Think keeping another team in the mix, and keeping Hull in freefall is quite important. Going tomorrow. Really excited like i can't remember, in a sick way.
Guest Howaythetoon
Lose this and I can't see any way back for us... We must win and we will win. Howay the lads! A win is neither crucial nor likely. A draw is probably what we'll get. That puts us just 2 behind Sunderland assuming they lose to ManU. Not a horrible situation to be in. If you think we need to win this to stay up you might as well consign us to relegation already because there's an ice cube's chance in hell of us beating Stoke at home with a severely depleted squad. Spurs away is an infinitely more winnable game. Like I said, if we draw and justice is done with the Mackems, we're just two points form safety. Still a very workable position. You're deluded. If we lose to Stoke and then Spurs which is more realistic than drawing either never mind winning we will potentially be rooted down there which means we could be playing catch up, which we already are to an extent. This game against Stoke represents an immediate chance to move out of the bottom 3 and close that gap providing the mackems lose of course and by a few goals. It also puts pressure on Stoke who till aren't out of it, although a win tomorrow should see that they are safe. I love how you're incapable of disagreeing with someone without calling them "deluded," "clueless," or a dirty foreigner. I'm sorry, I try not to make personal comments about other people, and I don't mind the fact that you're opinionated, but the condescending manner you address people just pisses me off sometimes. Touchy. Reading your comments you seem rather blaze about our prediciment. Maybe that's because you're not feeling it so much being a foreigner and all.... That was a joke by the way. Seriously the Stoke match is huge for us. Win that and we can start looking at turning the corner. Lose and we sink further and then an equally tough if not tougher match away to Spurs where they are due a home win against us becomes even tougher and yet another must win game. If we lose those 2 off the trot by the time we come to play those "winnable" home games a win or two may not even do, that's how seriously in the mire we could be come tomorrow evening, therefore we have to beat them as the manager himself says. TaylorJ_01
If anything this is a diamond opportunity to turn the corner, never mind close the gap. We have to win this, there are many benefits to be had.

Stoke's home form is good but Spurs' is even better - in fact only three teams are on better form home or away. Spurs are hotter than Man Utd right now. Stoke are three points above us; we need to drag them into this. Crucial match.
Guest DannyStokie
make that 6 points above you. infact, our home form IS better than spurs, are we looking at the same table buddy.
dustynrg
A draw is surely the best we can hope for, only Man U, Chelsea and Everton have won at Stoke this season. Shearer's a Manager not a magician. It would be great if we won obviously.
Dave
make that 6 points above you Well exactly. If we lose then you're pretty much safe, basically. We're running out of teams who can take our relegation spot.
