In his defence, they're quite possibly bruises.

 

In one game about 2 months ago I lost 4 toenails and bruised all but 2 of them.

Were you kicking a concrete ball?

 

I was wearing boots that were slightly too small. Incidentally they were the biggest sized ones in the shop.

They're black because he wears to tight shoes tbh.

 

 

Got the same problems during my football "career" as I hated it when my football boots weren't really tight.  :lol:

 

Or are all of his nails black there?  ???

Of yes, when I played football, my toes were always filled with blood. Absolutely awful. Honestly, I prefer playing barefoot as I'll at least be able to walk after I'm finished playing.

 

Playing barefoot would make my whole food painted blue.  :lol:

You should really try. It's very comfortable and liberating. The only problem is idiots who fly in with their studs up and/or don't clip their nail.

You should really try. It's very comfortable and liberating. The only problem is idiots who fly in with their studs up and/or don't clip their nail.

 

I did try it, some years ago. I was playing at the beach without shoes. But my foots were hurting quite heavily after that.
