Frazzle
Talksport news reckons Owen is out for the game tomorrow. What a f***ing surprise eh? Blatantly bottled it. Like Beye, or is his injury different? What injury has Michael Owen got? The one that kept him out of Fulham which when scanned showed nowt and mysteriously had disappeared? Showed "no serious damage." Whatever..... It must be difficult being a teenager. Probably. It must be difficult being an Owen apologist. Its called being a realist, I've never said he wasn't a drain on the club. All I'm saying is that injury prone player gets injured....surprise surprise. Too many people wearing blinkers though. I mean, if he wasn't on such ludicrous wages then it might be a bit easier to accept, but considering the amount of money he earns and the amount of games and goals hes given us (this season especially) then its completely uneven. Guest Darth Toon
I had my first relegation dream last night too - we were 1-0 down and Hull drawing 0-0 at half time, then I woke up. Hoping to catch the second half tonight....

jimmymag
Injury prone doesn't even begin to describe this lad! He must be made of glass, ffs. We must have the most brittle strike force in Premiership history in Owen, Oba, Viduka, and Ameobi who have all been injured for most of this season, and if you throw in Carroll's recent injury it just couldn't get any worse. What a f***ing surprise eh? Let me introduce you to sarcasm I originally responded to someone else's post about Owen bottling it, saying he's always injured this is no different. You say its different because he's faking it. I say I doubt it. You bring up random post I haven't even read despite having a different line of argument when arguing with me? (oh, and this was after you went in a huff) So has he bottled it or is he just injured as usual?

mofo
The Guardian has the team as Harper Taylor Taylor Colo Enrique Guthrie Butt Nolan Duff Viduka Martins I'm with the posters who are expecting a disappointing afternoon. There's no quality or pace in midfield and I've gone for a 3-0 loss and Villa winning at HT/FT at the bookies. My heart will take over from my head at 4pm tomorrow but i expect to be richer come 6pm. Roll on next season Hope you lose your money!! & your house tbh, fuck's sake

I can't imagine Owen would fake an injury- he's not really that type of player- as I'd expect someone like Martins or Viduka to do that. I think I'm gonna have to sway to the side that he's genuinely injured AGAIN. Although, it wouldn't shock me if I found out he'd bottled it.
