Dave
To be honest I'm reasonably convinced that we're only playing him to show that he's fully fit.
Guest Roger Kint
Way past his best. Sammy and Vuckic should be ahead of him. Strange choice yesterday, if Parjoke was so keen to have experience on that wing why not Raylor with Fergie getting a game at LB? The kid need matches with his pre season interupted. Perhaps Ferguson isn't quite as fit as they'd like us to think? Anyway, Ferguson is a left-back isn't he..?

Imo he is a LW but he played well there before so nowt wrong with trying him.
Newcastle Fan
Almost costed us the game, can't fault his attitude and commitment but he's awfull in front of goal, he's not a winger at all and should only be used as a ST.
Ocho
Almost costed us the game, can't fault his attitude and commitment but he's awfull in front of goal, he's not a winger at all and should only be used as a ST. He shouldn't even be anywhere near the team anymore. Offload him to the Championship, his level is there.

TRon
I've got time for him as long as he doesn't get time on the fucking pitch. Me too. Just leave him out of the match squad and by all means do it as nicely and respectfully as possible.
BottledDog
Lads, it's not like Pardew wants the guy, we've already tried to send him back to Rangers this summer but they turned him down. No doubt they're not the only club. /for what it's worth, I've a lot of time for Lovenkrands, just not on the pitch anymore obviously.

powellnufc
Guess Pardew must think that Cabaye's passing ability might bring out the best in him

TRon
Like I said in the other thread, the only possible scenario where he might be more effective than playing a genuine footballer would be in a 4-4-2 where he's expected to run on to the flick ons from a big man. We've seen Obertan doesn't like that game, and if you were planning on playing any sort of passing game there would be much better alternatives. James
Pardew said what he likes about him last season is that he makes a lot of runs that might not receive a pass, but will drag defenders out of position.
AlanSkÃrare
Guess Pardew must think that Cabaye's passing ability might bring out the best in him Barton's passing didn't do any wonders for him last season. Neither did José's.
Newcastle Fan
Pardew said what he likes about him last season is that he makes a lot of runs that might not receive a pass, but will drag defenders out of position. He'll provide space for best to get the ball.. And miss.

TRon
Pardew said what he likes about him last season is that he makes a lot of runs that might not receive a pass, but will drag defenders out of position. That's handy because his worst work is usually when he actually has the ball.
Punk77
Pardew said what he likes about him last season is that he makes a lot of runs that might not receive a pass, but will drag defenders out of position. This! And he sometimes he was in good scoring positions but didn't receive the ball..
