Asset Management company? Sounds a little, how do i put it, like they are going to strip the heart out of the club.

Still, probably be years before we catch up to them.

Don't asset management compainies look after and improve your assets rather than strip the heart out of the club like a good old fashioned British business man would (fat Freddy, Ashley to name but two)

The fact that a club like the Hammers, whose fanbase is much smaller than NUFC's has been sold before us indicates how badly Newcastle are rated, both in the UK and Internationally - the fact that they are in London is nothing to do with it, because it simply means they have more close competition ; and, they have NEVER been as big a club as Arsenal or Spurs even back in the 60s.

Those who still think NUFC is a big club are getting a real wake-up call now....

Harris has also been attempting to find some new investment for West Ham and it's reported that he's located US-based finance to come to the aid of that cash-strapped Premier League outfit.

Must have been busy sorting that out then.

What is Harris' background and what is it that makes him the only man suitable to sell us? Is he a mate of Ashley or is it that he has a huge contact base of rich businessmen? Surely having him dealing with more than one sale is a conflict of interests.

Surely there has to be some sort of ethical issues or conflict of interests about handling takeovers for 2 clubs at the same time, but I guess not.

Think your over reacting a bit tbh and Nufc are on a different plant in the bigger picture of fan base ,stadium, merchandise etc and the only problem is our position now but overall we are a much better proposition in the long term imho.

How did this happen?! I was interested, where was their advert?

West Ham weren't for sale.

Get your facts straight, West Ham haven't been bought out, in effect the club has been siezed by a bank because it was unable to pay its debts.

So whats the rules on being siezed by a bank if you cant pay your debts?

Surely this cant go unpunished by the premier league?

The bank didn't put the club into administration so I can't see there being any punishment.  As far as I know they accepted the club as payment of the owners/clubs debts.

Harris is the Mr Big when it comes to brokering takeovers of football clubs.

He was the person who got Lerner's takeover of us through (they're big mates apparently).

He also got Shinawatra in at Man City, though, on the negative side.
