ikri
Did Alan Pardew give the teamtalk? That performance was utter wank.
Tiresias
We were absolutely awful, imo best central 3 would be Carrick, Wilshere and possibly Lampard, possibly Oxlaide-Chamberlain... Walker is not good enough, Lowton needs a run out.
timeEd32
Can't believe Carrick isn't a regular.
TRon
The only thing holding England back is getting that front 3 sorted. Get Walcott, Rooney and Sturridge working togther and Lampard, Gerrard and Wilshere behind them is fine. You don't need Lampard and Gerrard in the same team, one or the other would be fine. They just cancel each other out IMO.

Mick
Did Alan Pardew give the teamtalk? That performance was utter w***. He didn't have to, England and Newcastle both have shit managers and I don't know why anybody bothers watching England on top of watching us.

Mr. Snrub
The fact that a 35 year old Lampard is still in a different league to most of your other midfielders speaks volumes.
Ronaldo
We're off to the World Cup and you just got dicked by Luxembourg. Hush.
Shush
The fact that a 35 year old Lampard is still in a different league to most of your other midfielders speaks volumes. As if that matters. See Pirlo, Italy.

As if that matters. See Pirlo, Italy. Missed my point completely. It wasn't about Lampard's ability, it was about the lack of quality they have in midfield from other players. Italy also have Marchisio, Verratti, De Rossi, Montolivo...

As if that matters. See Pirlo, Italy. He's got a point though. Lampard is still a very good player no doubt. But it should be worrying that no one has put up a serious challenge to his spot yet either. He's good, but he's not Pirlo.

Ronaldo
I think any team Pirlo's been at would've swapped their contributions in a second.

Ronaldo
Ronaldo is spot on. It's just cool to hate on English players. That captain their sides to two consecutive European trophies. Same old story. Scratch around a second-rate league where nobody can see you spray balls about and score your 3 goals a season. Much better for your perception. Deuce
Nobody is hating on Lampard Nope. One of the best players of the PL era and one of the best England has ever produced. Not a soul here has hated on him.
Hanshithispantz
Lampard brings things that Pirlo doesn't, and there's definitely an argument to be made for him to get the nod in certain sides like. Pirlo is fucking magic though, he has dreamy hair as well.
Deuce
Pirlo is one of the best midfielders ever. Easily.

Lampard and Gerrard in the same team throws it out of kilter, especially in international football which is played in hotter climates and on bigger pitches.
