Cajun
Tbf I thought our best 11 (when fit) at the start of the season would have Gosling in ahead of Barton so I am not claiming any type of "win"
johnnypd
there's an agenda against barton - players get away with borderline attacks on him whereas if they'd done it to anyone else they'd be off. the motd cunts laughed at henry's shocking display of thuggery earlier in the season for the sole reason that barton was the victim. and whenever he makes the slightest infringement he's screwed over by the refs. considering that, it's incredible how composed he's stayed this season, bar the pederson "punch" which was blown out of proportion. Mick
His yellow card today was a disgrace, he's a big game player and seemed to love the game today.
Revolution Number 9
Tbh I thought he was far from his best with some of those deliveries, but the fact that even when not in full throttle he can totally pick the mackems apart is something else tbh. Guest neesy111
Kicked to pieces, treated awfully be Referee. Hope Barton beats the shit out of Webb when he retires as that piece of a shit referee deserves it.

quayside
Think we need to get rid of the poll now. I can understand that plenty will have thought he wasn't worth the effort when his off field issues were going on. But anyone who voted get rid because they thought he wasn't good enough wants their head examining.

I can understand that plenty will have thought he wasn't worth the effort when his off field issues were going on. But anyone who voted get rid because they thought he wasn't good enough wants their head examining. He was pretty shite when he wasn't injured or in trouble. Been a revelation this season, but let's not rewrite history. He even admits it himself.

Disco
Canny odd isn't it that two of the clubs best players and cult heroes were Big Sam signings and so they should be at £6m(ish) each. Only Coloccini cost more.

Disagree - no history is being rewritten, he was class at Man City when he got picked for England and he's simply getting back to that level.
Mr. Snrub
This season he's been even better than he was at Man City.
quayside
This season he's been even better than he was at Man City. On occasions yes - but he's got better players around him now. He used to run the whole show at City and they were absolutely nothing when he wasn't on the pitch
