Guest toonlass
I love his interviews to be honest. They always seem to be insightful and very self-aware. I think he is doing a grand job tackling his demons.

Interpolic
Read that on Guardian's site today. The Goodfellas of footballer interviews, i.e. he says fuck loads of times.

Finally I think you're right, he has said the right things and done the wrong ones a lot in the past, but now he seems to really have put things right. I admire him for facing his demons head on and admitting his problems. Takes a lot of bottle to say "I can't handle my drink. I've fucked up, I'm sorry." He really seems to be trying hard to stay on the right path, and keeping off the drink will only help him.

Guest toonlass
What actions? The actions that have seen him sort himself out, the actions that gave seen him stop drinking, the actions that have seen a marked improvement in his performances for us on the field? Cajun
OptaJoe Opta Sports 10.3 - Joey Barton has averaged 10.3 crosses per league game this season, the most in the Premier League. Centred. Reminiscent of his Man City days.

Anderson
Just been interviewed on SSN at some golf thing. Spoke a lot about 'wanting to take Newcastle United forwards next season' and said the French magazine quotes were blown completely out of proportion. Both of our wide players inadequacies are grossly exaggerated because of the absymal strike force.

JH
That stat is amazing because Joey Barton isn't a wide player. He spends half the game in the centre circle.

Guest schmuck
Has, according to this website http://premiersoccerstats.com/epl.html , 17 assists this season. Going by their criteria (which I'd imagine are more in the vein of 'key pass leading directly to a goal' rather than the fantasy football-style 'last player to touch the ball before the scorer) the only players to have bettered this are Beardsley in 93/4, Solano in 99/00 and Solano and Robert in 01/02.
