watch match of the day moan about this 2day

I'm more looking forward to MOTD2, with Colin Murray refusing to show his penalties, branding them 'disgusting, vile and racist' strikes

Try not to have favourite players, but Barton has been immense this season. No idea where he gets his drive from, he never seems to stop trucking on.

Colin Murray better not ever meet Joey Barton or I think he will be dead meat after what he said about Mrs Barton leaving him a few weeks ago in one of his many snide remarks on TV.

It was a 50/50, not even a tackle. His momentum took him into Diaby.

so was de jongs on ben arfa then.

No it wasn't, De Jong won the ball and followed through with his trailing leg, Bartons was all momentum.

Ben Arfa had the ball.

Ben Arfa/Diaby tackles are chalk and cheese. Davie Proven didnt like it but it's a blokes game so people get hurt. So?

Eh? Ben Arfa had the ball and De Jong tackled him.

Nobody had the ball today.

It was a 50-50 challenge and that still image doesn't do it justice. He went in with one leg and one leg caught the ball, then his momentum took him into the player. Never a red, not even a foul.

had the ball ? what are you on about ? when the tackle comes in they are both together. in both occasions the ball was there to be played but the player went in knowing his momentum was likely to cause damage. look at where bartons knees are in the still pposted earler man.
