Can anyone confirm how we are currently lined up? 4-4-2 or 4-5-1?

4-5-1

And something strange is going on with Lovenkrands

According to the beeb Plymouth had had 55% possesion and more shots on goal than us. This is the team that's bottom of the league, we should not be struggling like this, even though we are leading, this is exactly the opposition we should be putting away.

Sounds like the trouble with Lovenkrands is to do with match fitness.

Lee Ryder:  The Dane is starting his first game since last season and is far from fully match fit after a couple of sub appearances.

He's been struggling to get to grips with the pace of the game from the start and in making several bursts forward has not been able to get back as quickly as he should be.

Nolan, Enrique and Calderwood have all been trying to get their point across not to make the run if he can't make it back.

Soft goal and a shit performance against the bottom team.

Unless Hughton is instructing the team to conserve energy and avoid injuries because of the squad issues, doesnt bode that well.

Genuinely reckon that the likes of Nolan, Smith and Butt are having a far bigger say in how we line up than any players should.

Easiest way to accomodate as many of the "veterans" as we can by sticking 5 in midfield at all times.

Average as fuck. You'd not know which team was in the Premier League last season.

Yes we're leading and yes Harper's had nothing to do but to say we're hoping for promotion and this is one of the worst teams in the league so far it's pretty fucking poor IMO.

Why play him on the wing and expect him to track back if he's short of match fitness then? This is quite annoying. I just hope we get the 3 points.

That's what I'm beginning to wonder. That Hughton is doing his level best to keep his senior midfielders onside. Not good if that turns out to be true.
