Sorry about that Phil!

I told Matt he was okay to post about his show.

Different person, same show, would presume the powers that be would still be ok with it.

Between Rio and Madrid now, apparently.

Two excellent bases, TBF.

Chicago out in the first round? Stunning. Come on Rio!

To be honest, watching the questioning, wasn't too impressed with the Chicago reps.

Looks like what happened is that a lot of people that would have voted Chicago eventually just voted Madrid in the first round to appease the emotional Samaranch, planning on then voting Chicago later, thus all of them gasping when Chicago was eliminated, not realizing a lot of people did the same thing. Voting dynamics can be crazy. At this point, it pretty much has to be Rio.

He probably won't be around to see it to be fair.

 Out in the first round, WTF? How is Madrid even in it, didn't we have Barcelona only 15 years ago?

The biggest mistake was having Oprah and not Michael Jordan fronting the bid.

 Would have loved it if he went over there just for the voters to tell him to fuck off.

Republicans are going to be insufferable for a week or two.

30 minutes of ceremony before they announce the winner. Why does everything have to have a special. Whatever happened to a balding man in a cheap suit walking to a podium, saying a name and then walking away.
