Guest Roger Kint
£4M for David Bentley David Wheater Adam Johnson £12M on Eden Hazard Aiden McGeady Gary Cahill £7M for Vela Dos Santo for £2.5M Gabriel Obertan This thread. Will bet you now he goes for that or not much more. They only paid just under 5 man. Which are you talking about? The obvious answer would be Bentley as you rarely manage to read a full sentence but he cost £15m didnt he?

So really Bentley wasn't the obvious answer was it now.
Village Idiot
Stay away from Dos Santos. Ronaldinho-like work ethic without having been one of the greatest footballers in the planet first.

STM
The way i see us if we get promoted is ; Harper Simpson Taylor CB Enrique Smith CM Jonas LM Nolan FW Out- Colo (4.5m) Barton (3.5m) Xisco (1m) Suggestions; LM/RM- O'hara (3-4m), Gamst Pedersen (Free), Benayoun (5m) CM- Danny Murphy (3-4m), Noble (8m longshot) CB- Shawcross (?), Wheater (4m), Curtis Davis (4m) FW- Cole (8-10m), Zamora (6-8m) Leaving the starting line up very similar something like this; Harper Simpson Taylor Davis Enrique Smith Murphy Benayoun Jonas Nolan Cole
Guest Heneage
We are going to have to try and nab any talent we can from the relegated teams plus one Premier League loan.
Cajun
Still some mental valuations going on in here!
Ronaldo
Ambrose is the one we need to go for in the summer, our budget in mind.
maybe_next_year
Still some mental valuations going on in here! so mental that if you went half way between them and mark hughes's valuation of players, you'd probably come close to the real value. Dokko
The way i see us if we get promoted is ; Harper Simpson Taylor CB Enrique Smith CM Jonas LM Nolan FW Out- Colo (4.5m) Barton (3.5m) Xisco (1m) Suggestions; LM/RM- O'hara (3-4m), Gamst Pedersen (Free), Benayoun (5m) CM- Danny Murphy (3-4m), Noble (8m longshot) CB- Shawcross (?), Wheater (4m), Curtis Davis (4m) FW- Cole (8-10m), Zamora (6-8m) Leaving the starting line up very similar something like this; Harper Simpson Taylor Davis Enrique Smith Murphy Benayoun Jonas Nolan Cole Benayoun is Liverpool's best player this season, £5m? I wish. £4m for Curtis Davis, this the Curtis Davis that plays for Villa, the one they paid around £10m for and has since got in to the England squads? Again, good shout but the price is way way out. Wheater £4m to us? Boro wanted £12m for him in the summer, can't really see either happening, but Boro's mental evaluation of him is better than your even more mental evaluation tbf. Anyone paying money for Danny Murphy wants shot, anyone paying £3-4m for him at near 33 is a mentalist. Wouldn't really fancy Cole or Zamora, both have had some moments in the league, but consistently over their careers have been shite. To pay £10m for a slightly better version of Ameobi and £8m for a player who's only scored 24 prem goals in his entire career at 28 is another mad move. No offence mate, I really hope none is taken but half this little mad lot would have me crying in my sleep at the thought of the waste of money, while the other half are pipe dreams. Guest firetotheworks
I'll go half arsed and just say I'd like to see us go for Chris Eagles, for Hull to go down, Bullard to stay fit and for us to buy him.
hakka
I'd look at Beckford, Buzaky, Whittingham, Ambrose, Halmosi or Kilgallon as potential signings.
hakka
Anyone know much about Rickie Lambert? See he has scored more than Beckford so far this season.
GuyP
Anyone know much about Rickie Lambert? See he has scored more than Beckford so far this season. beckford wouldnt do it in the premiership imo, neither will Lambert id guess... Lambert is just a goalscorer with a wonderful shot, but like Beckford, i just feel his plateau would be championship football George Boyd on the other hand... GG
Anyone know much about Rickie Lambert? See he has scored more than Beckford so far this season. Wouldn't be able to move before the end of the season, plus just basically wouldn't. He's being paid a reasonable wage at Southampton and with their 'plans', I can't see anyone leaving other than possibly Lallana/Schneiderlin, but even then, they'd be to big clubs. STM
Just seen Rodhaminho's post, christ. Alan Smith as a premiership midfielder? Amady Faye as a premiership midfielder? Stoke aren't doing bad. I also seem to remember most on here don't rate Milner, Duff etc, better than our current bunch. I believe we need a ball player alongside him but i suppose you could sign Gerrard?
