Guest Heneage
DKristoffersson Daniel Kristofferson Sebastian Larsson and his family has already looked for places around Sunderland to live in according to his father Svante. So he's been in Newcastle? He is renting a house in Neville's Cross,Durham owned by Dave Parnaby(Boro academy gaffer). But 5 minutes from my home. Time to go star hunting! David Icke - Son of God
The main reason for buying Larsson in January was that he'd give us decent backup or an excuse to move Barton into the middle. I'm not going to lose sleep over him.
Peppe
WTF Sebastian, you idiot Zog > Larsson I know, would much rather have Zoggy, but I'm swedish and I kinda like him (as a player). Will be quite difficult now though
Guest Wearside
WTF Sebastian, you idiot Zog > Larsson Must say I love it how practically every poster on here seems to think N'Zogbia going to Newcastle is a shoe-in,I'd be amazed if Ashley pays double for a player he sold. So would I because he won't need to. Zog has always wanted to be back here and that will drive the price down to a realistic figure. Enjoy Seb Larsson. Colos Curls
I don't think nzogbia is a shoe in but everyone has a near equal chance if you slap a bid in there, maybe nzogbias time here might influence his decision, hopefully On larsson, fantastic at set peices and pinging a ball about, but that really is all your getting with the lad

Because we are buying players on their merits rather than "ooh our rivals are after him so he must be good!" Did your scouts even know who Neil Taylor was or are they just fixated on who we are trying to buy?

Yep,certainly could and Colback will be a permanent fixture next season,Louis Laing is also arguably the best young player in the North East depending on who you believe and will definetely make a PL player. Also missing from that list is Billy Knott who many believe will be a first teamer next season. These new UEFA rules mean developing academy players is going to be even more important in the coming years and Sunderland have a very good academy although it does cost a lot to run(£1m a year at SAFC). Dokko
Nothing more satisfying than having a productive academy, seeing young lads from the north east, sometimes born supporters pull on a shirt and give it their all. Just stinks when Liverpool come along and buy themmfor daft money.

I would much rather see a North East kid in my team giving everything than watch some of these foreign players just come and go through the motions, sense of pride seeing a local kid making it big and while it's disappointing to see them move on,I personally hope they go on too have good careers. Guest Wearside
Is Colback the next talentless, gutless crab midfielder who you're going to sell? Colback could be anything he wants to be,needs to have a good pre-season but I'd say he will be a regular for us next season. He was always rated higher than Henderson in youths and reserves and looks a good player. He is a mag though so we might be playing with 10 men on August 20.
