As accurate as any local journalist can be. During the season the Sunday Sun is usually the bastion of shit transfer stories but they seem a lot more sure about these deals.

He's got a fair record. Thing he's not a sensationalist journalist writing for the national press, he's a local lad who knows he'll get hounded out if he constantly prints bollocks. So in his best interests to get it right.

To be fair, in general The Sunday Sun is a pretty poor paper but for years now it's been a lot more on the ball re transfer news than the Journal and the Chronicle.

Whilst signing Cabaye and Gervinho would be a great it's a large quantity of the cash gone without addressing our main problem of not having anyone remotely decent to play as a central striker. Although you'd think once others have seen they're onboard though they'd be more likely to move to us.

Barton and Routledge replaced by Cabaye and Gervinho is a huge upgrade imo. Really still need a good striker which I think we'll get, and if we get one or two others then it's money well spent. Hopefully Enrique is convinced by the plans now if these come off.

Pretty sure I've seen Gervinho play as a striker for Ivory Coast.

Not as a central 9 playing up top by himself though which is the point I'm making. We still lack the player to lead the line.
