colinmk
After a terrible last weekend of betting my plan is to win all my money back by betting heavily on Sweden to beat Hungary by the -1.5 handicap. Any advice Swedes? I watched Sweden v Scotland not so long ago and although we were and are completely shite, Sweden looked pretty awesome to say the least. Really attacking and free flowing football. I'm not a Swede, but Sweden should win. They actually got a proper manager now and have been looking good since his arrival. I have put a lot of money on this match, don't let me down Svvvvweeeeden.

Really attacking and free flowing football. Yeah, Sweden should win, not sure I'd be confident on -1.5 though. Questionmarks over Zlatans fitness, as he hasn't played much in pre-season, but he usually scores against Hungary. Toivonen has looked very good for PSV so far (scored that free kick against us, remember?), and caught the eye of Hogdson. Know pretty much nowt about Hungary mind. Sweden, England, Germany, Turkey for me.

Ocho
How does a -1.5 handicap work? Team needs to win by 2 goals or more. Isn't that the one you're actually betting half of your stake on -1 and half on -2 (hence -1.5), so if you end up as a draw on the -1 part, then you get half of your stake refunded? No -1.5 is you have to win by 2 clear goals or else it is a full loss. If you do -1,-1.5 handicap then you get half your stake refunded if the team only wins by one goal and the full odds if they win by 2. (I think this is correct)

Aye that sounds about right, the one I'm talking about where you get the half stake back though is the (-1,-1.5) one. Better odds than the -1 however you will lose half your stake if they only win by one.

timeEd32
This is slightly off topic, but it's still betting so... I'm betting an Arsenal supporting friend of mine on the two matches this season. The rules we have decided on so far: I win if Newcastle wins either game or both end in draws. In order for him to win the bet, he needs Arsenal to win one, draw one or win both and attain a certain GD. He thinks 2.5 is fair. I'm even skeptical at 3.5, but would probably do it. Thoughts?
