LFEE
Some interesting viewpoints in here when viewed from the outside . A number of people - not the same ones, I'm sure - were scoffing at Shelvey just a couple of weeks back. You reckon? I think he'd be a disaster. Too one paced for our team. Suites Swansea's pass and move. He'd be forced to go sideways and backwards with this squad. I think he'd make enough of a difference. He's got the potential to take a game by the scruff of the neck, and some real nous. You don't need amazing to stay up, you just need to improve on the glaring weaknesses in the middle (defence and midfield)... Starting Saivet ahead of all their midfielders when he's played less than 40 minutes for you . They're in the top half despite having a dodgy keeper and defence, and a big lump up front. Their midfield can't be that bad. I get that every football forum is like this, but it's dangerously RAWKish. Thing is you missed out that I had said earlier I was a fan of Shelvey as he's got an eye for a pass which I love I just didn't think he'd be a great fit in with our current team. Happy to review this opinion after a season or two. He's off to a great start though but my concerns are can those around him maintain the rise in their performances I like him as player as I admire players with a true eye for a defence splitting pass. I just don't think he'd fit in our team. We need power/pace in CM (and CD). JJS isn't athletic enough without the ball which he'd have to get used to. mrmojorisin75
is it just me or are they worse or as bad with klopp?
Guest neesy111
is it just me or are they worse or as bad with klopp? Jekyll and hyde. Look good one week, look awful another. Remember they started the season very average under Rodgers (and very boring).
themanupstairs
is it just me or are they worse or as bad with klopp? They are gash. Back 5 are a joke. Lucas still plays in their midfield. Alongside Henderson poster boys for bang average.
Guest
Worse points per game record under Klopp than Rodgers apparently.

TRon
is it just me or are they worse or as bad with klopp? They just aren't that good. Pressing the opposition is a great philosophy but if you can't finish or defend set pieces it's not going to make much difference.
Tiresias
Klopp will do fine but it is an awful lightweight team at the moment, their transfer commitee is a complete joke.

Guest
I wonder if deep down he regrets going there like. He'd have been in the running for the Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea jobs you'd have thought. Probably even Arsenal after Wenger.
Tiresias
With Henderson and Milner in the team I suspect their plan is to hope the opposition is too distracted by the commentators and various pundits loud orgasm like sounds over their 'hard work' and 'running' I actually like Henderson but having both him and Milner in thet eam is an overload of boring midfield play
U2
Has to be 2-1 to Parky. Klopp is going to need to spend a huge wedge of cash to be successful.

mrmojorisin75
is it just me or are they worse or as bad with klopp? They just aren't that good. Pressing the opposition is a great philosophy but if you can't finish or defend set pieces it's not going to make much difference. So for me it's the Pardew argument, he's getting very little out of the players at his disposal due to his rigid attitude. Still once he gets £100m to spend I'm sure they'll be great. Tiresias
If Sturridge wasn't a crock theyd be fine, scoring enough to cover for the bad defending and be quite exciting, but without him they just have no cutting edge. Coutinho is also a huge miss for them. Couldnt look blunter at the moment even though they scored
