Just watched the documentary "the two escobars". It's one of ESPN's 30 for 30 series.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant, however tragic.

Without a doubt the best football documentary I've ever seen. If you get a chance to see it do so, fucking outstanding.

The relation between the drug cartels, Pablo Escobar and the eventual murder of Andre Escobar after the 94 world cup. Bar none the best football documentary I've ever seen

:kasper:

I had a lump in my throat after watching that. It's obviously more than just a football documentary. It's absolutely stunning tbh. Essential viewing really.

One of the most powerful documentaries/films I've seen and some of the footage is fabulous (and also tragic).

I'd recommend it to anybody

Agreed.

One of the better football ones about. Colombia has come a long way since '94.

If you all get time, seriously watch the 30 for 30 series from ESPN. There are some wonderful stories there and you get a better perspective on our american sports culture.

I've only seen the Reggie Miller one, was impressed.

ESPN Classic is a cracking channel btw.

The Reggie one is class. Him and Spike Lee is such a fantastic/ridiculous relationship.

You could try it with contemporary players

''Newboy Carroll out on parole, young andy is going to score a-goal''

''New boy Ben Arfa, had his leg broke in halfa, New boy hatems going to something something...''

Nice work.

"new boy Campbell, runs like Bramble, there's no one Sol can't handle."

To be honest the above is a poor effort.
