ponsaelius
What kind of prices will the tickets be going for from touts?
Village Idiot
Sigh. Thanks for the help. I'm a member but not a ST holder, I'll be pissed off if I miss this one too. Let's see if I can tap up my "sources".
Village Idiot
What kind of prices will the tickets be going for from touts? I'd say €150+, depending on how important the game actually is.
ponsaelius
Aye, I can't afford that like. Proper gutted now

ponsaelius
Aye, I cannot wait to see the city itself too. Seeing a game was the main thing though, have always wanted to for years. I just went on that ticket site you linked to, the bit where I get to the stadium map...if tickets do turn up they'll appear on there aye? It's obviously blank atm. Think I'll just sit for a week solid refreshing Will there be many that do pop up on there?
Village Idiot
Yes, tickets will appear on the area of stadium the seats belong to. Click on them and you continue to payment. Seats do show up, but I don't expect many unless the race is over (and if it's us that won it, since the trophy is usually presented in the last home game, there will be a sellout too). ponsaelius
I found a ticket on the Barcelona tourism board but it's 127 Euros and there is only 1. Think I'll give it a miss.
mattypnufc
Whats going on with this strike business? If it happens will the fixtures stay as normal or are they going to put them all back a week? Two weeks if a Spanish team makes the CL final (not unlikely given Barça and Madrid are on the same side of the bracket). I expect the strike to be called off. Not the first time they threaten with this, and it has never happened at the end. Latest is that the strikes are off. Good luck with tickets, doubt you'll manage sadly. Village Idiot
A judge will rule today if the strike is on or off. Going by previous rulings the strike will probably be unauthorized.

Village Idiot
And to round off a great weekend, Espanyol keep dropping like a stone. Because when you build your success around a tight defense, there's nothing like selling half of it during the January window for a bag of crisps. Keep it up, bitter cunts
Disco
VI, am I right in thinking if I buy tickets off servicaixa I can just pick them up in Spain from a machine with the card I've used to pay for them with? Also, do less/more tickets become available as time passes, as members take up there option? Not that it will be anywhere near full I imagine. And finally is it a week before the fixtures that dates and times are confirmed?

The Monday game it's chosen earlier, when the rights holder assigns the games to each TV (as some have a predefined time slot where they will show their allotted game). I'm not sure about when, but it's at least two weeks and probably a bit more.

There are definitely 4 better fixtures than it that weekend so fingers crossed.

Village Idiot
Spain have been invited to Copa América, which would both rule and suck (players won't have a proper summer rest for two years in a row, plus a third with the EC).
Fugazi
Spain have been invited to Copa América, which would both rule and suck (players won't have a proper summer rest for two years in a row, plus a third with the EC). I fear Xavi may actually die soon if he keeps playing 270 games a season.

Village Idiot
Seems that we have been invited by the AFA, not CONMEBOL though, so it still has to go some way on their part before being firm. I expect our clubs to oppose it, although the president of our FA says he wants us accept. From a pure sporting way, I'd love to take part on that competition, but the calendar would be insane.
