Guest
Last night, intrigued by the thought of Shola at a World Cup, I started to think about which NUFC players were at past World Cups. It's never felt like many but next summer we could have loads (Ameobi, Krul, Cabaye, Sissoko, Ben Arfa, Debuchy, Santon, Tiote/Cisse, Colo etc). All I can remember is: 1998: Shearer, Batty 2002: Dyer, Given 2006: Owen 2010: Gutierrez, Geremi Any more? Was Tomasson gone by France 98? Had Guivarc'h officially signed? Also Gavilan was on our books in 2002 I think.

Ketsbaia
Lee and Gavilan, yeh. Although Gavilan was being farmed out everywhere by that point I couldn't be bothered to go before '98 but its never been more than 3 or 4 at once. It'll be nice to see our squad all over Brazil next summer, unless they get injured.
