Wullie
If we sign a right winger before this one at least if we don't get justice for Tiote, we'd have the option of Barton in the centre. I'd rather have the option of Soderberg at right back then Barton in central midfield.
Guest Heneage
The result means noting when it's put next to Tiote's red, I'd have taken the loss if it meant Tiote stayed on. Smith's a waster.

Foluwashola
A draw would be a miracle without Tiote. If his red card isn't overturned football is a disgrace.

Incognito
We'll have to see if any appeal succeeds before considering this game tbh.
Dinho lad
today's embarrassment will either make the players go to SMB and bounce back with a good result or it will make things worse and we'll simply get fucked all over. At the moment I'm thinking it's the later.

Jumped in a bit but ffs, surely even the FA will understand that isn't a red

chicago_shearer
The FA aren't going to overturn it. Tiote wasn't in the starting XI because a) he wasn't fit enough and we didn't want to risk his health or b) we didn't want to risk a very important player at a very important time in the season on a Cup tie. Nothing about the circumstances of being 2-0 down in a tie against Stevenage should have mitigated those risks. It wouldn't have been worth it even if Tiote had come on and changed the game, which a defensive midfielder probably isn't going to do. And we'll lose league points because of it. Monumentally stupid decision.

Incognito
Be ironic if they overturned the red to a yellow and he misses the game anyhow.

Wullie
Meh, fuck it. We beat them 4-1 with a team consisting of: Given Carr, Bramble, Moore, Babayaro Solano, Faye, Clark (Chopra 59), N'Zogbia (Boumsong 88), Dyer, Shearer (Luque 71) How many of those fuckers (other than the obvious two) would you have back in the team today? I can pick five easy, Given, Solano, Dyer, N'Zogbia, Shearer.
Ishmael
Depends if it's the Carr of the past of the Carr of today. So either 6 or 7.
