Mike
Just trying this MLS fan thing out.
Kanji
Simply put. Good to see sell out. Orlando has gotten behind the team. Very little left in terms of season tickets. 60K people are going to this match. This is larger than SJP attendance. It's huge deal.

Ameritoon
Looks like we're heading for a strike, owners only free agency offer was horrible. NYCFC getting Xavi in the summer apparently, though.
cubaricho
I know the Orlando City dudes are in squeaky bum time about it. 60k tickets sold for the opening match and it may not happen. Daunting.
Kanji
I'm going to be so mad
Deuce
Montréal Impact top Pachuca on away goals to make it through to the CCL semifinals, with a very good chance at making the final (they play the winner of Alajuelense-DC United, most likely the former.) BillClinton
Sounds like they have a deal.. Hope the players got something out of it, cause those first few offers were a disgrace. I'm actually more excited to watch the MLS then the rest of the Newcastle season.

Deuce
I'll be interested to see the finer points of the deal. edit: that Sentinel piece actually does a pretty good job of laying it all out. - Free agency for players 28+ years old with 8+ years of experience, capped depending on salary (imperfect, but it's a start) - Minimum salary rises from $36.5K to $60K, to increase incrementally per year (big win for players union) - Unknown increase in salary cap (hopefully a significant increase, but probably not.) Deuce
Feisty affair in the CCL second leg between DC United and Alajuelense. HT and 6 yellows already. DC up 1-0, down 3-5 on aggregate.
cubaricho
Can I also state that I love that Orlando is sponsored by a local company? It's not a great company in Orlando but at least it's local and not a huge, nasty sponsorship on the front of the kit.
Ameritoon
60k minimum is great, good first few steps forward until the next CBA at least. Having Disney invested in the league is great imo, I guess they already were with ESPN having television rights, but still.
Ameritoon
On that back of this I've bought tickets for Toronto/Chicago in April, probably see Orlando in September too. Wish one of these clubs would sign Ben Arfa.

Superior Acuña
Howay Chicago, going to try and get into it for my first full season here, this games on unimas which don't think I have, are they all on that channel? I watched playoffs on NBC last season...
Ameritoon
They're on Fox Sports or ESPN mostly this season, Unimas has some too. Most Fire games are on Comcast sportsnet, but going by that it's not going to be a fun season.
