Why is football just so insane nowadays?

I mean seriously it's getting madder each season.

Years ago the national coach would never have been questioned like this and that's not the only insane thing either.

- Players like Torres going for 50 Mil.

- Player like Carroll going for 35 Mil.

- Players being able to force transfers.

- The idea of a contract no longer being a contract

- The general treatment of fans as nobodies.

I mean seriously it's just going insane like. Sepp Blatter can be blamed for a LOT of it but I mean anybody else got any thoughts on the subject and what we can do to make the PL and football in general more a sport and less just a business?

In an attempt too turn this into some form of football thread what do you mean by 'player like Torres'?

Also a 'contract no longer being a contract'?

Right I mean players like Torres who despite being good underperform in a season yet sill get sold for ridicoulous amount (I mean the 50 M was the biggest bid in the PL ever).

And by the contract thing I meant as in nobody ever stays for the length of the contract indeed they seem to be just pieces of paper.

If they were just paper Torres would have moved for free.

Yeah but like Carroll had literally just signed a contract 3 months before he had moved. IMO that just isn't right

Its not right, but neither is saying a contract is just a piece of paper, as proven with Torres' and Carroll's fees.

Be prepared for football to get worse, everything you hate about it will be the future of the game, just how Blatter & Co want it to be.

You won't, neither will I or anyone else, but its in that they have a hold over us and can take it down any route they want regardless of what any of us think.

What's wrong with Sean?

The saying that he would rather have Aliaderre than Ewethon?

Maybe Sean was agreeing with Shaun's opinion?

We can start by spelling the terms for economic systems correctly.  It will likely aid in credibility.  Then volley a load to some schiesse porn.  It will take the edge off.
