Pilko
Teeth girl and her mate were right in front of me and my dad. Fucking irritating pair of twats they are.
Frazzle
Good point? Probably looking at things objectively (especially with the sending off), yeah. On the other hand, its frustrating losing a lead and going down to ten men.

Pilko
Gutierrez 5 - full of shit Not the only one either. What is it with this forum and Gutierrez? He was poor today, but I seemingly forgot that it's not allowed to ever criticise him.
TBG
Nolan's perfomance after his goal was absolutely woeful. He could barely move. It's laughable how of the pace he is.

The Merse
Harper was average at best (his kicking was pathetic) Best was excellent and Nolan was poor apart from the goal - Collocini was immense - some credit to Bolton Davies, Holden and Sturridge are a real handful

Yorkie
Good point? No, two dropped. It's a point gained given the dismissal. Frustrating that it would have put us ahead of Sunderland and them in seventh though - we'd have been cruising into Europe.

Yorkie
Aye. We blew hot and cold and earned a decent point after the sending off, thanks to some determined performances and excellent substitutions.
Skirge
1st half was good to watch.. end to end, no atmosphere today that was a shame.. thought Harper should have saved their goal. Best was great the lad is showing real hunger & determination, won everything in the air.. Raylor had to go, bad tackle. Pards was daft to take of Jonas, we lost our out ball, seen us under more pressure than need be but I understand why he made the changes he did. Pilko
The 10 minutes that came after the sending off were an embarrassment. About five times Tiote got the ball deep and every other player was stood about with their fingers up their respective arses, not moving or wanting the ball. Happens far too often in too many games, really bugs me. We've got one of the most static midfields in the league.

Which midfielders in our squad support the attack? Which midfielders in our squad drop deep to receive the ball from the defence? Which midfielders in our squad make forward runs off the ball? Nolan Tiote Nolan OK - 2 midfielders out of 8. Nice. I'd even argue that Nolan wasn't consistent in supporting the attack or making forward runs, not to a level that wouldn't make him 'static'. Yorkie
Four midfielders play per game. There's no world-beaters, aside from Cheick, obvs , but to say it's one of the most static in the league is very harsh. Unfortunately Barton was out today but there's several good connections throughout the midfield and defense. Barton/Nolan/Tiote work well in tandom, as do Barton/Simpson and Jonas/Jose. I agree with you, a bit, that they don't link to the attack too well. I'm looking forward to Ben Arfa's return where that's concerned.
