looked more effective than Torres at the weekend so why would Chelsea loan him

Chelsea pretty much have to play Torres, otherwise he will become a £50 million flop.

Lukaku was bought for less and is still young, can see him going on loan for a few months in the prem.

rumours say for 6 months at most as they want him back for when Drogba heads off to ACN, hardly ideal for any teaming loaning him

Half a season isn't too bad. Depends on the fee paid really.

SSN saying Stoke in talks with Chelsea over a loan move for Lukaku.

Hope not, I fucking hate Stoke.

Their gameplan is to lump (throw) the ball into the box and have their 6 Arnold Schwarzeneggers rape the keeper. Cunts

The annoying thing is that it works a lot of the time as the other teams have actual football players in their teams and not ogres.

Borussia Dortmund rejected a €40m offer for Mario Götze from Arsenal, according to "Kicker".

Odd. I thought you simply had to accept offers that big?

The two scenarios are a little different to be fair.

  It'll be like watching a real life video game glitch.  Long throw -> header -> score.  Long throw -> header -> score.  Long throw -> header -> score.  Long throw -> header -> score.  win every game 4 - 0.

How so? Because they won the league?

Because they're in the CL and don't need the money for a fat owner to eat it.

They are in the CL as well so have a bit more money.

Plus, Carroll isn't worth £35m, Gotze probably is.

Fair enough, haven't seen anything of him bar a few you tube vids.

Only seen him a couple of times myself.  Going off reputation mainly.

Because Gotze is Germany's next big thing. His touch, control and vision is class and there's no doubt that he would be an asset to any team in the world now, including the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid. Whereas Carroll has had one good half-season and it was obvious that with his attributes, he would struggle in a team that played football on the ground i.e. he would struggle in any team wanting to qualify for the CL. 35m for Gotze now will be cheap when he gives you five world-class years as an attacking midfielder. I wouldn't take Carroll back for 20m now and there's probably only Spurs - who are desperate for a striker - that would.

I admit that I haven't seen Gotze more than ten times but it doesn't take a seasoned football watcher to see who's a good player and who's not. This kid is the real deal. He plays it simple and nice most of the time and yet he's still so effective. It's not like he's a full-of-tricks player who will drift in and out of the game. This kid looks for the ball and sees passes that most other players don't, and he's composed enough - at 19! - to be able to successfully make those passes.

Götze is fucking fantastic. Would be a cracking signing at any price.

Exactly, we should pay whatever they want, I don't have the vocabulary to explain how amazing I think he is. He's literally the closest thing any club will ever get to signing Messi.

DO IT ARSENE.
