bowlingcrofty
@FNN_Official: Manchester City right-back Micah Richards (26) is set to make a £4.2million move to Newcastle. #MCFC #NUFC
Pilko
Right-back? Fuck that, get him in the centre.
triggs
Surprised Micah Richards is only
Kanj
Right-back? f*** that, get him in the centre. This
Ronaldo
Sad day when Micah Richards constitutes an upgrade at CB. Certainly couldn't pair him with Mapou, like.
Mole_Toonfan
Sad day when Micah Richards constitutes an upgrade at CB. Certainly couldn't pair him with Mapou, like. Yup. He has the physique and power but like Taylor he's a bit thick. Would be serious holes for the opposition to exploit. Still though I'd take him over Taylor and Williamson all day long. Ronaldo
Not clever enough, clumsy and too short.

Why would you take him over Williamson? He's not tall enough to be paired with any of our other center halves and when was the last time he even played centre half

Kanj
You'd have to play Micah with Moke. Ouch.
KDT
He's got a pretty decent leap on him, I'm not sure you have to be 6ft 2 plus to be a centre half.
Guest
Doubt we'd go for him. More like the sort of player a QPR or Sunderland would go and spunk £70k a week on in the hope he starts fulfilling his 2008 form before doing frig all.

Both don't have to be 6'2 but I think at least one of the centre halves has to be commanding in the air

Also agree with Ronaldo on his clumsiness and lack of smarts.
Ronaldo
He's got a pretty decent leap on him, I'm not sure you have to be 6ft 2 plus to be a centre half. You can't have two CBs under 6'. It's just unfeasible in top level football, especially in the PL.
Incognito
It's good to have an aerial dominating centre back with a pacy back up sweeping behind. However as much as I like Richards, I'm not convinced he is intelligent enough to play that role.

r0cafella
Yanga-Mbiwa off to l'OM. Wouldn't be surprised if that was true. I would be there French teams aren't trying to pay his wages so he's stuck here unless we take a hit like we have with Marv
