Chrisjraby Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 Honduras spent the whole second half basically trying to get Costa Rican players sent off by feigning injury, then for the entire of injury time they basically time-wasted to get through to penalties (as their players were far more tired than the Costa Ricans). The stand out moment was a Honduran player (think it was Portillo) wanting to shake a Costa Rican's hand right in front of the ref, the Costa Rican player slapped his hand away and he went down holding his face and did about 10 rolls. The ref ended up booking Portillo for that, but he did it another 2-3 times before that and was lucky to even still be on the pitch! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
