Ronaldo
He finished playing for us over a decade before most of us on here were born. Probably has something to do with it. So please, what's your excuse for picking Howey over Colo and Woodgate? I'm not even vaguely sure why you've quoted that post, but I'll answer. I saw Howey partner Albert and they represent a really good CB partnership, perfect for front foot attacking PL football. If you'd read my entire post that would've become clear. Hughesy
Disclaimer: That I've seen, and taking into account only NUFC performances and especially proven team/positional harmony. Given Venison Howey Albert Enrique Gillespie Lee Speed Robert Shearer Beardsley Interesting call on Venison - but thinking about it a pretty good shout. I'd probably swap Solano for Gillespie and take out Howey for Woodgate I think.
Ronaldo
Venison gives added leadership at the back and is excellent cover for the marauding Gillespie. I was tempted to put Solano in but I just think with Beardsley in there and Robert's delivery there's enough of what Solano offers.
Incognito
Venison's best football for us came in central defence or in front of the back 4 imo. Very underrated player and a good selection.
AyeDubbleYoo
RB is a hard one, I can't really say we've had one worthy of being an all time great.

sempuki
Best French team? GK: Perez (is there anyone else?) RB: Debuchy CB: Mapou CB: Goma LB: Domi RM: Robert CM: Cabaye AM: Ben Arfa LM: Ginola CF: Saha CF: Remy Apart from the obvious weakness in goal, not a bad side that. Ronaldo
I don't know what you think you're playing at leaving Laurent Charvet and Fabrice Pancrate out, mind.
sempuki
I don't know what you think you're playing at leaving Laurent Charvet and Fabrice Pancrate out, mind. We have had loads of French players when you think about it. Pancrate was pants but did score a cracker in the Championship - a league we could well be seeing again soon.
