If Dean had sent off Clattercunt in the first minute, which he should have, there would have been no 20 man melee. Dean refereed the game abysmally. He could easily have sent 2 mackems off even before Sausagethon got his first use of the soap. Because McPikey's assault on Simpson should've warranted red too.

Is this real?

I agree about the 'goading O'Neill' bit though.

must've felt like a prize twat when ba missed.

I thought the same at the time like, would have looked even more daft if it had finished 0-1.

Newcastle and Sunderland charged with misconduct http://t.co/a9Avzd1s

Newcastle United and Sunderland have both been charged with misconduct following the match between the two sides on Sunday 4 March 2012.

The charge is that the clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour and is in relation to an incident which occurred in the 19th minute following a challenge by Sunderland’s James McClean on Newcastle’s Danny Simpson.

Both clubs have until 4pm on 12 March 2012 to respond to the charge.

More recently on 31st October 2010 Sunderland were thrashed 5-1 away by local rivals Newcastle and in the home fixture in August 2011 they were humbled once again by Newcastle this time by 1-0, the only goal of the game scored by Ryan Taylor over the Sunderland wall. Bringing this fixture up to date Sunderland visited Newcastle once again in the hope of coming away with all three points but after a ugly first half where Sunderland took the lead with a dubious Nicklas Bendtner penalty Newcastle dominated the second half and in the 92nd minute Shola Ameobi popped up with a well deserved equaliser in a game where Sunderland were fortunate to come away with a point but must be grateful for that after the 5-1 drubbing the previous season.

They keep removing this update... for some reason.

Its because the word 'dubious' makes the story inaccurate
