nufc4eva
It's good to have players out on loan but only if we actually plan to integrate them with first team eventually

aussiemag
http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/socceroos/news/1188485/Curtis-is-good-to-go-for-Australia Young Australia defender Curtis Good’s FIFA World Cup hopes will not be hindered, even if an injury prevents him playing again this season. Out with a hip flexor injury since making his Socceroos debut in the 4-3 loss to Ecuador eight weeks ago, Dundee United’s on-loan centre-back has made such an impression with coach Ange Postecoglou that he will be given every chance of proving his fitness ahead of June’s Group B clashes against Chile, Netherlands and Spain. Good, who showed maturity beyond his years and astute tactical awareness on debut despite Australia’s second half implosion against the South American in London, is close to returning for his Scottish Premier League club as it approaches its final three games of the season. The Tangerines host Aberdeen on Wednesday (AEST), travel to Celtic on Sunday and have the Scottish Cup final against St Johnstone to look forward to the following weekend. He returned to training late last week, though only on a modified schedule for the time being. According to Socceroos sources, even if the young Socceroos captain misses all three of United's remaining games he will still be in Postecoglou’s initial 30-man World Cup squad – to be named on 16 May. Postecoglou showed his belief in the towering defender – who joined Scottish high-flier Dundee United on loan from Premier league Newcastle United at the end of January – by naming him in his starting side against Ecuador. It’s understood that Australia’s preferred central defensive partnership in Brazil is the Good alongside Matthew Spiranovic with Shandong Luneng’s Ryan McGowan the most likely back up. Former skipper Lucas Neill, 36, played the final day of the Championship season on loan at Doncaster Rovers. The a 1-0 loss to Leicester Doncaster down to league One – and Neill remains an outside chance of a recall. Young gun Trent Sainsbury has suffered a relapse of his knee injury playing in the reserve team at his Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle and could be ruled out of contention altogether with surgery now a possibility. With warm up games against South Africa in Sydney on 26 May, an unnamed Brazilian club side on 1 June (provisionally) and Croatia five days later, Good will have plenty of time to show he is match-ready again after coming into camp where he will be assessed by Australia’s medical staff. aussiemag
Looks like both Good and Troisi will be playing for Australia in the World Cup. Two strong Newcastle links there. Bradden Inman has been really disappointing for Crewe this season, what happened to him?
