The official website of Scottish Second Division side Stenhousemuir are listing the pre-season visit of a Newcastle United XI to their Ochilview Park ground. That fixture is scheduled for a Noon KO on Saturday July 14th and precedes another kickabout, against Stirling Albion. There shouldn't be any issue with staging a double-header though - Ochilview has an artifical pitch. We're unable to find any mention of further fixtures for Newcastle north of the border as yet - and the trip over the Tyne to face Gateshead on August 1st remains the only non-first team pre-season game to be confirmed.
