NUFC Pre-Season 2012/13

Recommended Posts

So that's the 13th, 27th, 28th (September) and 11th (August) the only dates confirmed as pre-season fixtures. Dare say we're going to sneak a game at SJP in somewhere in there? We usually have six games.

Doubtful given the London Olympiad.

From .com again.

The official website of Scottish Second Division side Stenhousemuir are listing the pre-season visit of a Newcastle United XI to their Ochilview Park ground.

That fixture is scheduled for a Noon KO on Saturday July 14th and precedes another kickabout, against Stirling Albion. There shouldn't be any issue with staging a double-header though - Ochilview has an artifical pitch.

We're unable to find any mention of further fixtures for Newcastle north of the border as yet - and the trip over the Tyne to face Gateshead on August 1st remains the only non-first team pre-season game to be confirmed.

Ah fair enough, as opposed to a five-team tournament. Makes sense.

We're certainly getting about a bit.

Why are Monaco playing in Germany against non-German opposition anyway? ???

And why do Landsberg (phoned them today about that) know nothing about that?

which landsberg??? @david28 where are u from? von wo bist du? deutscher?

Landsberg am Lech, according to .com and according to the Monaco site. It's near Augsburg where I live. And, yes, German.
