Are United a feeder club albeit one with a bigger support than Wigan.

Do we just have to accept that we will always be a provider of players even to some clubs who don't command the level of support than we can get at St James' Park let alone to the Premierships moneyed teams ?

Nothing to do with being a feeder club, if the money is big we will sell. Same as most teams.

That is fair comment, but are we going to operate a revolving door policy where Graham Carr is expected to continue to produce gems from France and elsewhere purely to sell them on at the first chance we get.

That won't produce stability or build on the undoubted success of last season.

Eventually it will come unstuck.

How many daft bids are we likely to receive though?  Man City could buy almost any striker in the world for the money we'd want for Cisse.

For the money am sure they would rather go that extra step and try Lavezzi/Cavani/Falcao level players

Are Man United a feeder club for Real Madrid?  I mean.. they sold Ronaldo, Beckham and Van Nistelrooy to Madrid, so that must make them a feeder club.
