Hughesy
Routledge is a good championship player and that's about it.
CPL
If anyone is interested here is the link to my friends blog on the game. (Swansea fan) Interesting read. http://lostboyos.wordpress.com/2012/11/18/lost-in-newcastle/
Ronaldo
Routledge is a good championship player and that's about it. Mike Williamson is a good Championship player, Lovenkrands even. Routledge is fantastic Championship player who's demonstrated he can do a good job in the Prem.

Routledge is fantastic Championship player who's demonstrated he can do a good job in the Prem. I don't think he can do a good job in the Premiership. I don't think he is awful and he may well have been a decent squad player for us - not denying that. But he hasn't proved he can cut it in the Premiership for any of Spurs, Portsmouth, Fulham, Villa, us or Swansea.

Think he is doing just fine there. Without reducing it to a numbers and stats game, he has two goals and four assists already after only 12 games. Many of those games he didn't play the full 90 either. It's took him a while, I grant you, but I think he's found a club that's right for him and plays football which utilises his strengths to best effect. BlueStar
OptaJoe - Newcastle attempted 26 shots at goal vs Swansea (excl. blocked); the most by a side in a PL game since Jan 1st 2011. Unfortunate.
Beren
Misleading IMO, 75% were harmless before the shot had been taken.
Wullie
There's no way we had 26 shots on target, which is what that implies. Doesn't surprise me that we had a lot of efforts in general, Ben Arfa alone must have put half a dozen in the stand.

Wullie
Shots on goal doesn't imply shots on target?
Hanshithispantz
"Newcastle attempted 26 shots at goal" It is what it says, 26 attempts at goal.
taxfree
Think we had 9 on target.
littlelunchbox
they had one less on target compared to us , hence the scoreline ...err what yep we're shyt
Ronaldo
It's beyond a joke how many clear-cut chances we've made this season. I'm not surprised they're putting laces through it from all angles.
Wullie
It really is. How many times has one of our players gone through on goal? Barely ever, yet Krul's having to face two one-on-ones every game.
Guest Gbs
Steven Taylor : "The boys' played well, we just couldn't score the goals we wanted to, had some great chances, but it was one of those games where nothing went for us. "Balls were going left, right and centre. On another day we'll probably have scored three or four. "The excitement was there, fans can see that, but they've just got to stick with us." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20413789

Guest neesy111
Honestly what match did our players and Pardew take part in on Saturday, certainly not the one I watched which was shite from us.
Ronaldo
I'm actually beginning to really like Taylor, but he is really is thick as mince.
