Was all agreed after they lost to Chelsea apparently. Just sods law that he got a win before being binned.

Can definitely see Bruce going for it given his previous connection.

Can’t see him managing a PL team again.

Lampard [emoji38], if ever a case of a player getting jobs due to reputation it’s him.

I disagree with that to be honest, think he did a good job at Derby and a decent job in his first season at Chelsea. Wouldn't want him here, for a fair few reasons, but wouldn't don't think he's as truly awful as people think.

Couldn’t get Derby promoted with the likes of Mason Mount on loan, sacked at Chelsea when they were struggling in the league ,they have since massively improved ,won  the champions league and are now top of the league, great player but a shite manager .

Absolutely. It's just a lazy opinion to have. Who knows how Lampards career in management will fair?

The only thing I'd say is that all managers should be looking to learn. It would do Lampard wonders to take 18 months out and go and speak to some coaches on the continent and make sure he's aware of the standard of modern coaching.

If he follows the Redknapp, old boys club routine, the ultimately he will turn into a journeyman.

He deserves a clean slate in his own right.

It's as if you are either shite or mint, no middle ground? No room for growth?

Alot of Chelsea fans are quite complimentary about the job he did with restricted funds and bringing on young players.

Again, I don't know how he's career will turn out but it's important to hear the other side of the arguement.

Think of all them great Man United players that made shit manager”s but kept getting jobs because of who they were , that’s what Lampard is.

How can you possibly know that? His career has barely begun FFS.

Are you now saying that former football stars can't make good managers?

He's absolutely getting the benefit of being Frank Lampard in terms of landing bigger jobs BTW. Is that anything new?

We've just watched Xavi get the Barca job off the back of managing in Qatar.[emoji38]

If there was ever a profession where reputation and contacts count as double its football.
