Went down dramatically but you need to half the time or the ref won't give you anything. Watching the USA these past few weeks, players stay on their feet and don't get the ref's protection. The game is saturated with not just vindication but a vocalised, unabashed, enthusiastic preference for outright cheating. It's sickening. And then the media collectively scratches their head highlighting 'dives' and saying it's not on. They're all the fucking same, man. They legitimise cheating then, in order to sell papers/increase viewership, make a massive noise about some incident which they then decide, when it fits their rhetoric, is clear cheating and unacceptable. The first incident he should have had a pen, the next he dived, the latter he was caught & made the most of it. Despite the fact i think it was a penalty, its absolute bullshit that the media are basically saying its ok to cheat and that because he didn't go down earlier he deserves this one. As an isolated incident its a pen IMO, but don't go saying he could have had others if he went down. By doing that the media become part of the problem.
