Does this deserve a thread title change?  Alan Pardew -  “Dead. Finished. Over. One more game then that’s it."

Imagine the reactions of people logging in to see that come up

Forum should be replaced with just this image :sweetjesus:

Whatever Ashley's motivations are, what another tragic f***ing mess. This club is scum.

This, I've completely taken a step back from it while this regime is in charge. It's just an entity I keep an eye on to see what happens. I don't desperately look up results anymore or get excited about upcoming fixtures. The club exists to exist, it's completely pointless.

It would be unbelivably funny if we lose and Pardew does get the chop and only then realises Ashley wasn't joking!

Would be even better if Ashley gets pissed off being taken lightly by those Pardew responses today and gets fired today or even before Monday!

Pardew being complacent with the most ruthless businessman right now.

Think Ashley is getting too much credit to be able to pull of some elaborate ruse like this.

He's a prick, and he got drunk and told people his private business as he's a total idiot

Tend to agree with this.

Same here. Drunkards and children always tell the truth so, erm, here's hoping you lose tomorrow.

We VI we...

You aren't going to beguile me into properly supporting NUFC, I have a life to live

I'll give up when you join up.

Would be typical if we snuck a win with a goal deflected in off Cisse's arse in the last minute now.

If the result is typical, we'll lose.

But Pardew is a cockroach who always does enough to survive the chop.

If Ashley's just waiting for him to lose one more game he may as well sack him now. I don't get why he's waiting.

What's the point? It's inevitable he'll lose a game soon, even if we don't lose at Stoke.

Surely you don't actually believe this SanToon? Ashley hasn't spoken to the press for 5 years or more, yet he just happened to be drunk outside of a Soho pub and willing to speak his mind to somebody who announced being a journalist, just days after engaging a PR consultant specialised in crisis management and story telling? :jesuswept:

I doubt it was staged as I can't see any benefit coming from it, not for Ashley, the club or Pardew.

Lol. So you reckon ashley orchestrated the entire thing? Pre planned meeting a journalist, pre planned speech. Had to get his lawyers in on it and pardew. Made a cut throat gesture, talked about money.

All as an elaborate PR trick that gets his manager under pressure? Why on earth would he do that? You're paranoid

I think you're being gullible tbh. It's not such a stretch at all to imagine that his PR consultant advised him to talk publically to a journalist and staging it in a location where he was always likely to run into journalists.

Not every single thing is some ruse like. Before Joe Kinnear signed, Ashley gobbed off in a London bar that he would get the job. He's a loud mouth.  He got drunk and let his mouth go.  If it was a PR thing, why get his lawyers involved at all? Wouldn't you prepare a better speech than that? These conspiracy theories are crazy man

It could have a negative ending though, Ashley could have meant it and could hold off because of the story, we'll see.  It's not as if he can't afford to pay Pardew off.
