Village Idiot
"I don't shy away from it and I'm not going to hide," Pardew said of the increasing speculation. "I'm not holding any grievance against the media, or some of our more militant fans, or the guys who printed the posters. "I've been out and about and had a few fans telling me their opinions, quite strongly. A few cars are diving a bit too close to me. "I get it. I will go home, shine my manager of the year trophy and give myself a bit of confidence." Such a slimy individual. Reminds me of Mourinho but without the talent to back it up. Tooj
Guardian podcast this week - "Newcastle will definitely go down if the keep Pardew, he doesn't have a plan or a clue what he's doing". It's quite refreshing seeing a Sunderland fan like Glendenning feeling sorry for us and totally empathising about how bad Pardew is.

Then the BBC messed up, because those quotes have not been said like that. huss9
just listened to colin murray on talksport - absolutely got it all spot on, especially about the bulshit around pardew's family. never thought it would be murray, but at last a non-geordie in the media actually "gets it". got it right about ashley, pardew, the transfer policy, the spending deficit, the free advertising, the debt that isnt being reduced etc - all without a single reference to deluded fan with unreasonable expectations. Been said a few times on here but Murray and H&J after him are always talking about us like that and clearly have read sackpardew regularly.
Guest chopey
Pardew has turned me into a bloke that's looks forward to games now so i can see how many we get beat by, in the vain hope that he will be sacked after the match. The international break couldn't have come at a worse time for us because he will see it as two weeks rest from the stick. I also need to see some strong evidence of the intimidation of his family because if there is none then he has just basically insulted the whole of the north east, to think we would stoop so low to get this wanker out of his job he got through his ability to tell convincing lies. LRD
Ashley's allegations about death threats to his family were never proven true, were they? Seems like a similar case here to make themselves look the victims.
