It wouldn't bother me having an English man manage Scotland but I've never been particularly passionate about national football, probably because Scotland have been rubbish - average at best my whole life. I think the rivalry is primarily one way, the Germans don't seem to care too much about us and even then the only English fans who would cite Germany as our main rivals are probably the sort of gammon who sing '2 world wars and 1 world cup' and go to games with inflatable Spitfires. I'm not too fussed about having a foreign manager, I just think it's a shame that a country with such a deep love for the game can't muster a capable coach to lead the national team. WITH THAT SAID! The longer Tuchel is in charge, the longer the FA won't come in sniffing for Howe. But yeah, like most, I couldn't give a fuck about the national team really, I'll obviously hope they do well in the WC and I'm grateful that we'll have some football to follow next summer, but if they go out in the group stages I'd probably just laugh, watch the fall out and carry on with my life.
