Flip
Dani Alves was excellent for 89minutes. Two brain farts in 40 seconds or so there. How did Turan do? Did well. Barcelona played some weird 4-4-2 hybrid. Wasn't a 4-3-3 as they're used to. Sergi Roberto at left back as well and he did very well imo.
Village Idiot
Dani Alves was excellent for 89minutes. Two brain farts in 40 seconds or so there. How did Turan do? He was decent. We had a good hold of the game until he went, actually.

ponsaelius
Turan makes a lot more sense for Barca now he's playing than it did at the time. Great flexible player who is perfect for what Enrique seems to want from him.
Tooj
Is Turan going to play a lot in the middle for Barca? Just looking at where he would fit. I mean the most advanced of a three if Iniesta doesn't play in that role.
Village Idiot
He's played in Rakitic's position in a few games. I think Lucho envisions him as a flexible player that he can use to cover several positions in the middle and the wing.
Guest Phillipealbert
Just realised that Leicester doing the unthinkable and winning the PL means that Danny c***ing Simpson would get a winners medal. Tbf, he wasn't that bad. Not good, but not as bad as people made out to be. If he didn't back off as much, he'd have been decent for us. Good goal line blocks too. Guest
Who was our scout under the 'original' Ashley regime? Two players we were close to getting back then now rocking it up at Real Madrid & Barcelona. Bring him back for Carr.

The College Dropout
Hate the tactic of the midfielder dropping in as a third centre half when a team has the ball. Doesn't work unless the player can play long accurate passes to the wings Anita to Chancel. Chancel to Anita. Anita to Colo. Rinse and repeat until one of the CB's tries to create something. Hanshithispantz
Ibe and Milner on the wing, Henderson and Lucas in the centre. Lightyears ahead of our midfield though...

TRon
Milner is a bloody good player these days. I think he always was tbh, other than he should be getting more goals considering he can strike a ball pretty well. At Newcastle there was too much pressure on players like him when we had veteran superstars who were either shite or past their peak.
Flip
I think he's class. Very very average imo. Don't think he's horrible or anything. But he's not a bloody good player or class
Flip
Naismith lucky there. Think ref could've given a yellow, but as long as he's consistent I think it was a good decision to let it go.

TRon
I think he's class. Very very average imo. Don't think he's horrible or anything. But he's not a bloody good player or class He does a lot of hard work up and down the right flank. Not enough for CL clubs maybe, but most managers love that in a player, and he can put in some decent deliveries as well.
