Ankles Bennett
If Gayle carries on as he is and the Baggie's get promoted we might be able to match the mitro fee and take in another £27m with add ons.
Shearergol
If Gayle carries on as he is and the Baggie's get promoted we might be able to match the mitro fee and take in another £27m with add ons. Ideal scenario. We can then loan another relegated striker in a swap deal for Joselu. That's where the cycle ends though.

Guest
Aye, last season was as probably as good as his career in England is ever going to get. Might as well earn a mint and go somewhere else.

xLiaaamx
Him and Rondon will make a nice pair next season. It'll be for West Brom like, but they'll do well.

AsprillasShinPad
Very good Champo striker Exactly this. We did the right thing by letting him go; he was awful in the PL. I'm glad he's doing well again in the Champo. Seems like a decent bloke.
George Bailey
Wouldn't say he was 'awful' in PL. Putting it a bit strong for me that. He's just one of those players that crop up every now and then who's ability lies somewhere in between leagues. Very good in one league and just adequate in another..happens now and then imo. Wish the lad all the best personally.
AyeDubbleYoo
It was a mistake to let him go, but like we’ve said I guess it was the only way we would get Rondon. In isolation it would’ve been much better to keep him.
Kanji
Be nice if he was there for a half season loan (is that even possible?) a front 2 of Rondon and Gayle sounds pretty decent imo

Guest reefatoon
Would have been interesting to see what he could have done in the premiership in a more attack minded team. He could probably be a handy striker in the right set up.

Guest reefatoon
Crystal Palace were an attack minded team? Must have missed that
Dr.Spaceman
Don't confuse being a bit shit with not being attack minded.

The College Dropout
Don't confuse being a bit shit with not being attack minded. Palace have never been a genuinely attacking side. Their best period in the PL was 6-12 months with Pards. Bit of magic FC.
Kanji
If we had Zaha Townsend and Benteke we’d be miles up where we are right now. Even the current crap Version of Benteke. You could apply like 1-2 decent attackers or wingers and plug them into our team and we’d be comfortably mid table pushing upwards.
