The club has lied and lied and lied again. They've been caught lying, numerous Ashley goons have admitted to lying in leaked conversations, Keegan and others have given specific accounts of them lying, they've admitted to 'deliberately misleading the supporters of Newcastle United' in court.

And yet here we are 10 years later; it's agendas.

It is agendas. If you look at it rationally do you think Rafa would allow the club to lie to the fans over a deal he apparently had strong issues with losing out on?

You can question the club, but then in this case (this article) you have to also question Rafas integrity by allowing it and not responding to it.

If the club lost out and it's their fault they aren't going to stoke the fires by lying or leaking to the press, they gain nothing but a pissed of manager. I don't think even they are that stupid to intentionally piss off rafa.

So that's my thinking, rather than based off something that happened a decade ago. Suppose it's easier to blame the club first and think later.

Well Godspeed to you, I can't be arsed to go through each of your points, but my overarching point is that you're playing a mug's game. I'll meet everything that comes out of the club with the maximum amount of suspicion until Ashley's gone, which again isn't 'an agenda' it's simply learning from experience.

If Tammy Abraham plays poorly but keeps starting for Swansea we'll know it's in the loan contract for him to get a certain number of starts.

Not really. If they're at risk of going down for example, they may cut their losses on the loan penalties to try and survive in the league.

I meant for the first quarter or half a season. Swansea wouldn't keep starting him regardless if it was a threat to their Premiership status, no matter what Chelsea wanted to charge them for breaking the loan rules.

I doubt he'll consistently play poorly anyway so it will be hard to tell. Also, I have no idea who Swansea's other striking options are.

The reasoning people use to choose to believe an article from the papers and call other one lies is frankly amazing.

And the conspiracy theories  Jesus fucking christ. Get out of your basement ones in a while.

Arrogant enough to dismiss my points without any thought yet feel like following up with calling me a mug. That's arrogant to think your opinion top trumps anything else that comes your way. It's why you cleared up last year.

[emoji38] Wey I do think you'd be a mug to take the club at its word and I wouldn't have said so otherwise. If thinking that makes me arrogant then so be it. The fact that you're calling it arrogant after saying that people must have agendas is canny rich tbh.

I'm open to idea and thoughts that don't necessarily mirror my own. Unless it's an extreme view such as Isis is a good/bad thing then I'll listen. I don't believe you have that in you. Hence arrogant.

Ps: I'm not taking the clubs word, far from it. I'm taking Rafas actions way above it. He's still here.

It's like Keegan and his court case never happened with you.

Keegan walked when he was getting shafted (something I didn't appreciate at the time) but I believe Rafa will do the same, and he hasn't, so it probably isn't happening. What is happening is mental money is making the market really difficult to navigate. Rafa appreciates this. If he didn't he's be away.

Agreed, there are a lot of teams that havent even made a move in the market yet

For someone you barely speak to you seem to have an opinion on a lot of things I say (for example you picked up on agendas, I didn't talk directly to you) And...You wouldn't speak to people irl like you would here, far from it. But that's you, all fart no shit. :)

It's shite. When we need to make more moves than most to get us on a level playing field every move needs to be spot on. One bad move can see us chasing the rest of the window.

If Rafa suggests the club really had reneged on its promises, and that it's not just frustratiion on i things not happening then I'm in KIs sinking boat, but until that happened what choice have we got to believe in the manager? Not the club, not Ashley, not the squad, but the manager.

Rafa has already said that in January. There's reason not to trust a word that comes out of the club.

I can't see Rafa walking but there has to be some cause of concern and scepticism.

Dave put it perfectly the other day.

I think it'll be okay in the end because I think Rafa wants to be here and will fight his corner, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried. There's precedent for all of this s***; Charnley failing to get deals done, Ashley interfering and thinking he knows best, Ashley randomly putting people into powerful positions that cause issues, managers being f***ed over on transfers (including this one about six months ago), and Rafa airing his discontent via the media. We've seen it all before. People ask why we should worry when there are no quotes, well there are never any quotes.

There's rarely smoke without fire, especially when it comes to Ashley and NUFC in general. The bad news stories have invariably been true over the years. Maybe that counts as bed-wetting, I'm not sure. Don't really care tbh.

Nee idea about the rest of that shite saying as we've established that you don't know me.

I'll leave it there though, I have 'stop ruining threads' agenda, or again just learning from experience.

That's concern, it's not unjustified, I certainly wouldn't call someone out for it, it's logical reasoning, it doesn't match mine but that's fair enough. But even in that, you can't see Rafa walking. If he isn't walking then it's not outright lies like Keenan had to endure.
