Mick
I would be more concerned as to what they would want out of the club rather than where they have money invested. We were sponsored by S&N for years, should we have said no to that because people die because of alcohol related illness and drunk drivers?

Guns only kill when used by or on behalf of idiots, if they didn't have a gun they'd use something else.

Lets be honest everybody likes a drink and for the most part it is harmless. However guns have only one urpose and that is to kill people. Do you honestly think that the French would have any qualms about supplying arms to anyone that the UK(or anyone else)refused to supply ?? Have you not read about the deal with the Saudis that was under threat because the Serious Fraud Office thought some ' inducements' had been paid...?? The French immediately tried to hijack the deal for themselves, and the UK Govt had to back down - get into the real world , son(OR daughter..!!).You can't put the Genie back into the bottle... Guest Steven_MB
WOuldn't want arms smugglers to North Korea, but I really couldn't care if they were conected to an arms company like BAE or a american gun company, its hard not to do business with people associated with guns in America! Guest toonelaide
These days its very hard to find a company that's not involved in or in commercial links with something most people find very disagreeable. It's very difficult to avoid funding those companies. That doesn't mean we should just give up and willingly support those things though, the more people protest, the less able small number of people can use peoples money for lucrative and immoral purposes.
