We’re playing relegation-level football at the moment

More chance of getting dragged into a relegation scrap than a battle for a European place of some sort.

This.

1000 times this.

I find these reactions absolutely baffling.

Think it's fairly obvious our squad just can't cope with this amount of fixtures.

So what's your excuse for us being shit in August and September then?

We used to play exciting attacking football under Howe. Even in the 23/24 season we scored loads. Had very little of that this season. No cohesion at all going forward.

If he goes it will be a heartbreaking one for me. When his team clicks it’s just fantastic to watch. And he’s an absolute gent who gave us our biggest moment in our modern history. But he just seems incapable of managing three games a week, or having the tactical nous to have more different gameplans when things go south. And if the club has ambitions to go for big prizes and thus play in Europe regularly, that just isn’t compatible.

By the way, to those who say he should manage England, every major tournament is like three games a week too so good luck with that. [emoji38]

I'd like him to be quizzed on his train of thought lumping all these games on a clearly deteriorating Keiran Trippier, it is an alarmingly negligent situation

the mans 35 and shouldn't be playing 90 minutes once a week, never mind 3 times in a week against the level of teams we have just played, its utter madness.

The gamble of not signing a young Right back they would trust be good enough to cover in January has already failed, and its the 7th of February!

I don't think we were. We struggled post Isak but I think performance wise we were generally alright without being amazing and things just generally weren't falling for us. It certainly wasn't "shit".

And December/January was actually a good period for us when results started to match the performances a bit. Obviously last few weeks it has just become too much.

Where are we getting points? Spurs A, City A, Everton, Man Utd, Chelsea A, mackems. How many points are we getting from that?

Pretty easy one tbf - Livramento, Miley, and Krafth are all injured.

Have we played well for any period of games this season ? For me we haven’t, and that’s a concern as we don’t have that to fall back on in the hope things get better.

Weren't we top of the form table in the PL a few weeks back?

I’d have gone Murphy over Trippier. We really where desperate for some reinforcements in January.
