The crazy thing is, this season hasn't been a disaster. They're having a decent year, were top for a little bit and are nailed-on for a playoff spot.

The problem is if you're obsessed about how your rivals are doing and they have an even better season...

Genuinely pathetic that they'd feel like that because we happen to eclipse them. Always in our shadow, just go and appreciate what you do have, a Championship playoff push after some time in the wilderness.

They were beating all but the top two in the National League at Kingston Park

Arsenal play every game at the Emirates too. If the lasses got promoted, would love for that to be an option here.

May well be the biggest gate the mackems as a club have actually played in front of this season, bigger than even a good number of their made up ones.

Still got a game in hand, two on some, be right up there with even a win and draw. Top two probably away though.

Back end of last season as they were closing in on the promotion it was up to regular 7k - 10k, I've only been once this year so not sure how it held up.  Was absolutely rammed for the last game of the season that me and stifler watched from the stand.

Not 100% on the rules, but was Langley after her sending off, still able to go on the pitch at the end of the game? If not could be a fine and an increase of games for her touch line ban. Also I'm sure she got sent off for kicking the ball away, that should be just a booking by the rules, so if that was the case, maybe it will be overturned

Comparison is the thief of joy.  But its totally embedded in them as the only measure they have. The best they've had it and likely ever will was 7th a couple times and the primary objective and cause for celebration then was about being 'north east top dogs'.

Aye, it was over 10k for the final homes game last season, bigger than the Falcons reached last year.

There were a few games with high attendance, but they were usually on highly advertised events, like women’s day, international breaks. I think generally 2k-3k was the average outside of those games.

Wow I see the Arsenal crowd tonight, for the QF game against Real Madrid was just under 16,000 lower than our crowd on Sunday

It's a strange one as they got over 30k at the weekend for a league game.

I think a lot of their marketing is around families, so maybe the weeknight games are never going to get the same crowd in.

Shame though, it was a great game!

Chelsea play Man City in the all English quarter final tonight if anyone is interested. City lead 2-0 from the first leg, but I would say anything other than a Chelsea victory tonight would be a suprise!!
