For a start, he got locked up for being a charity scammer, he didn't do basic research about the event he was supposedly participating in and got caught out almost immediately. 

 

He also never gave a fuck about football until he watched Green Street when he was 15 and then turned up the next week in Stone Island gear and talking in a fake cockney accent. He told us that he joined Whitley Bays hooligan firm and decked some kid wearing a Blyth Spartans shirt.

This is absolutely hysterical.

No, he went by Thomas Etherington during school then adopted the Ferry surname after if I recall correctly. He may well have gone by something else as well. His mam was dirty.

 

He's from Shields/Tynemouth area if that rings a bell

There's a couple of Ferry's that I know of around the coast, one came from the south side of the Tyne, the other one has a connection to Holland
